DUTCH test (£286)

DUTCH (Dried Urine Test for Comprehensive Hormones) Complete can help identify the root causes of hormone imbalances in men and women. It can provide insights into conditions such as the menopause, PCOS, weight gain, fatigue, low libido, premenstrual syndrome, mood swings, sleep issues, mood disorders and prostate issues in men. This test analyses 35 different hormones; oestrogen, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA-S and cortisol along with their metabolites. It also measures daily free cortisol, the oxidative stress marker 8OHdG, melatonin and six organic acids including markers for vitamin B12 (methylmalonate), vitamin B6 (xanthurenate), glutathione (pyroglutamate), dopamine (homovanillate), norepinephrine/epinephrine (vanilmandelate), and serotonin (5-hydroxy indole acetate).

Genova GI Effects stool analysis (£355)

The GI Effects Stool Profile can reveal important information about the root cause of many common gastrointestinal symptoms such as gas, bloating, indigestion, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, constipation, dysbiosis.

Genova Optimal Nutritional Evaluation (£335)

The ONE test is the most comprehensive way to assess nutrient status. It measures key pathways in the body to see if the body is absorbing and utilising nutrients effectively.

Genova Comprehensive Adrenal Stress Profile (£107)

A Comprehensive Tool to Assess the HPA Axis — Stress Response and Resiliency. Daily hassles, chronic pain, blood sugar dysregulation, work stressors, and poor relationship quality can alter the HPA axis. Imbalances in adrenal hormones can have a wide range of negative consequences that can adversely impact a patient's overall quality of life. The symptoms of HPA axis dysfunction can be vague, and are highly variable, but may include: fatigue, insomnia, weight gain, depression, GI complaints, and chronic pain.

Medichecks Thyroid Check Plus (£69)

Conventional tests will only check TSH and T4 levels, however, T3 is the active hormone that tells us more about how your thyroid is functioning. This test will give you an insight into FT4, FT3, TSH and thyroid antibodies for an in-depth picture of your thyroid health.

Medichecks Thyroid Check UltraVit (£99)

Similarly to the above but it also includes FT3, FT4, TSH, TgAB, TPOab, B12, folate, ferritin, vitamin D and CRP HS. CRP HS is a marker of inflammation, which may be present with thyroid disorders.
